I've had the good fortune to work for some of the smartest and most talented folks in the industry and for clients from Fortune 100 to nonprofits, start-ups and everything in between. I do my best work for organizations in need of brand strategy and development to both internally and externally communicate their message across print, digital, social and earned media.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION

While Awards are certainly nice to have, they are most often the reflection of a team effort. I am humbled to be a part of teams that have award winning work published in Communication Arts, Print, HOW, AIGA local, national and international as well as contributed to work in the Walker Art Center Exhibit: Graphic Design, Now in Production (book available at the Walker Art Shop).

PRESENTATIONS

I have been asked more and more lately to present on the topics of marketing, brand development, ideation and my nonprofit, EPIC Minnesota. I've been honored to speak at events for AIGA and Design Camp, AdFed, AMA, The University of St. Thomas, MCAD and many EPIC Minnesota events. Below is a link to one of the more popular presentations Tim Brunelle and I originally gave at Design Camp, but have been asked to give several times both individually and together offering our own unique background and perspective on the topic.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Samantha Massaglia | Communications Strategist
"I had the privilege of working with Haley on a project for the Minnesota chapter of EPIC, which, thanks to Haley's efforts and leadership, has quickly become a powerhouse service organization in Minnesota. Haley's skills include a rare combination of business development, relationship management, and creative insight. One of her particular talents is creating environments where clients and project teams are able to effectively and efficiently collaborate, and her facilitation of such dialogues is superb! In addition, Haley is able to monitor the progress of a project team while providing team members with enough space to pursue their individual tasks. It’s rare to find someone who is able to inspire big picture thinking while remaining in command of project and team minutiae (and doing it supportively and pleasantly). Haley is all of these things, and I look forward to collaborating with her in the (hopefully) near future."

Todd Piper-Hauswirth | Exective Creative Director / Founder of All-Good
"I highly recommend Haley for her can do spirit, unwavering dedication, and commitment to doing the best work possible. In the time we worked together at CSA and VSA she went above and beyond her duties and was always eager to take on more responsibility."

Neal Daunhauer | Global Brand Marketing Director at Cook Medical
"Haley has worked hard to understand our needs, communicate consistently and developed solutions that centered on our business and what's best for our customers. Her focus and attention to detail are strong. On top of all that, Haley is a great person."

Audra Wendt | Strategy Development and Marketing Director at Cargill Industrial Specialties
"I worked with Haley on several projects. She was always on top of what needed to get done, understood strategically what we were trying to accomplish and always fought for the best work. I really enjoyed working with her."

HoJo Willenzik | Copy Director at Little & Company
"Haley is one of the most versatile co-workers I've ever been around. She has a knack for diving into areas she might not be familiar with and figuring it out as she goes along without anyone realizing it and without making mistakes. She was consistently an incredible asset for everyone at our company."
HoJo worked directly with Haley at VSA Partners

Terry Maday | Owner at Maday Productions
Friendly, organized and focused - Haley helped us in every phase of production and post-production.

Monique Elwell | Chief Operating Officer & co-founder at Storyvine
"Haley is a committed team member. She worked tirelessly to serve our clients and paid great attention to detail to make certain nothing was dropped. Frequently, clients would talk about how much they loved working with Haley. Lastly, Haley has a rare quality in an employee, one that I wished everyone would have. She takes constructive criticism extraordinarily well. She seeks to constantly improve, so she will listen to feedback that allows her to grow and improve instead of getting defensive, blaming someone else or saying yes, but not improving."

Tara Thompson | Associate Manager, Projects at JLL
"I had the wonderful honor of working for Haley at VSA Partners. She is a true talent and a great mentor. Although our time was short, the valuable information she taught me, I am still able to use and build upon on a daily basis. I look up to Haley a great deal and can say she is reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, driven, and would be more than an asset to any company. Anyone would be so lucky to have her on their team. She is a true wonder."
